personal update...

Saturday was graduation at BJU. It's great to have our son Mark "home from college." It was nice to see some of you who were here to pick up your student, and several to attend your child's graduation. It was super to see several of you graduate! Congratulations! One of the huge surprises at graduation was Dr. Bob III giving a special Award for Enduring the Perils of the Faith to Gracia Burnham! (You will recall that she and her husband were missionaries held as hostages by Islamic terrorists in the Philippines. Martin was killed and Gracia was rescued.) She received a spontaneous standing ovation that didn't want to stop.

A cousin of mine in France sent me a blonde joke. I'll pass it on to you, first in French - as it came to me - so some of you former students of French can see how much you remember, then in English for those non-francophone group members. Have a great week! I plan to be back to you later in the week with a Mother's Day iv.

DISCLAIMER: Just remember that not all blondes are airheads and not all airheads are blondes.
